1. Does all of his artworks have text on it?
2. What media type does he use the most?
3. What are the meanings behind his images?
After:
1. If Martinez would have not lived in a trailer park and experienced gang things would he be doing this type of influential art now?
2. Does his negative feedback ever make him feel that his type of work is wrong? Or change his opinion of his work?
3. What does he himself get out of his artwork?
D.J Martinez was personally not one of my favorites. I think his artwork is great in a sense that it stands out and brings up topics that people don't talk about, but some of them push to far. For instance, racism, a lot of people do not like to talk about it because it is something that was in the past and I feel like we have come to a point where almost everyone is accepted. There is no point in bringing it up the way he does because it just causes fights between races. I believe it should be left in the past where it belongs.

Before:
1. What is he trying to get across in his images?
2. Does he focus on just one media?
3. What is his background? Does it have an affect on his artwork?
After:
1. What response did he receive about his Oedipus Refound series?
2. What countries does he not have artwork in?
3. Why did he chose hair to be the script? Everyone in the world has hair, but everyone also has things like teeth. Was there a reason behind hair or no?
Gu's artwork was really good. The United one gave me a sense of calmness and I thought it was put together really well. I think his concept of trying to unify the whole world and involve everyone is great. I liked his work and his ideas a lot better than Martinez. He gets his point across without causing problems.
